Drop-off site available for Liberty Grove residents at Going Garbage, 10564 Old Stage Rd. Weekdays from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Paper items: newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, container board, corrugated cardboard, catalogs, phone books, etc. All paper and cardboard products must be flattened, dry, and free of food debris and/or restroom waste.
Containers (Commingled Group): non-flattened, unbroken food and beverage containers made of glass, aluminum, tin, and plastics #1 through #7. All items must be rinsed of food or liquids, and all caps and lids must be removed.
Please note: Plastic bags used to transport recyclables as well as caps/lids are considered regular garbage and are not recyclable. Going Garbage does not accept tires, batteries, and waste oil as part of this recycling program.
Garbage collection is handled by private companies. Information for vendors can be found in a local directory or online.
Dog owners must present a current rabies certificate with payment in order for a dog license to be issued. The certificate must have the date of vaccination, expiration of the vaccination, vaccine manufacturer name, and the serum lot number for the vaccine.
The current fees are $5.00 for spayed/neutered dogs and $10.00 if they are unaltered. A late fee of $5.00 will be added for licenses issued after April 1st.
The information may be brought to the Town Office during normal hours of operation or mailed. All documents provided will be returned with the license.
Regular Town Board meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
