Door County North
Your exploration of Door County North provides you with the rarest of luxuries - time. Uncrowded and relaxed, you’ll find time to explore pathways of interest that lead you to a welcoming small town life, a nature trail in a protected landscape, or to the studio of one of our many master artists - housed in an historic building or nestled in a country garden.
Breathe in our beautiful land and water vistas at every turn. Enjoy a picnic in one of our 13 parks (including a shoreline state park) and delight in the varied tastes of our fine waterfront restaurants and relaxed cafés. Stay at a resort, a secluded cabin, B&B, or even in a tent. And, if you’d like to claim a part of this northern paradise as your own, local builders can make your dream home come true.
A slower pace doesn’t have to mean sleepy. Further expand your horizons with a workshop in folk art or fine cuisine. Experience Door County North’s maritime traditions through a visit to a museum, a charter fishing trip, or just simply watch today’s commercial fishmen hauling in their daily catch. Miles of bike, hiking, and cross country ski trails combine sport with unparalleled scenery. Choosing to visit Door County North makes your trip uniquely yours. It’s no wonder we say, “Find yourself here.”
